Tucked away on 20+/- acres of rolling hills in the enchanting Santa Ynez Valley, 2852 Tapadero is more than a home—it's an experience. This peaceful, private estate offers a lifestyle immersed in natural beauty, comfort, and creative inspiration. From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed by panoramic views of world-renowned vineyards, rolling hills, and endless skies that stretch from brilliant sunrises to awe-inspiring starlit nights.

The centerpiece of this estate is a tastefully renovated 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath residence, thoughtfully designed to showcase the breathtaking vistas from every room—including the bathrooms and laundry. The open-concept living and dining spaces flow effortlessly into the chef’s kitchen, while a cozy stone fireplace anchors the spacious living room. A hidden "secret bookshelf" door opens to a versatile library/music/entertainment room, perfect for quiet reflection or lively gatherings.

Step outside and you’ll discover expansive outdoor living spaces ideal for entertaining or unwinding. Shaded porches, pergolas, and a charming oyster-shell bocce court provide the perfect setting for casual evenings with friends. An impressive private orchard with more than 50 fruiting trees invites you to savor each season’s harvest.

For those with an equestrian heart, the estate includes a beautiful private barn with indoor/outdoor entertaining areas, two horse stalls, and scenic paddocks that lead directly to over 10 acres of fenced pastureland. The professional-grade equestrian arena, with its sweeping mountain and vineyard views, is among the finest in Santa Barbara County.

Wander through the manicured gardens and orchard to reach a secluded meditation/yoga/writing room, perched with vistas over Los Olivos and framed by mountains. Whether you're a nature lover, writer, artist, birdwatcher, or snowbird seeking serenity, this sanctuary is designed to spark creativity and peace.

The estate also features a 2017-built 2-car garage—designed in harmony with a 3-car carport. Every structure and space on the estate has been meticulously renovated and remodeled as of 2025 to blend timeless charm with modern comfort.

The Ultimate Location:

While completely private, the property is just five scenic minutes from the heart of Los Olivos, a charming town brimming with tasting rooms, fine dining, and eclectic shopping. The vibrant communities of Santa Ynez, Los Alamos, and Solvang are also nearby, each offering their own flavor of history, culture, and small-town magic.

Santa Barbara’s beaches, theaters, boutiques, and airport are a beautiful 45-minute drive through the coastal mountains.
